SVT Focus - Minimal Alfa Content

I bought an SVT Focusin November, a 2002, and got 0% financing.  I had intended of ordering an SVT Focus or MINI Cooper S in the spring, but the 0% financing got me moving early.  I drove both cars and liked the Focus better than the MINI.  It has 170 Hp without any sort of boost, a nice 6-speed tranny, huge disk brakes, and is just a real joy to drive!  AWD would be cool, especially with the 20+ inches of snow we just got here in the DC area...the whoopie cushion of world power.

Know what, though?  If the 147 had been available, there'd have been no contest; I'd be driving a new Alfa rather than my really, really RED SVT Focus.  

If you're looking for a hot little rocket, I recommend the SVT Focus, even without AWD and paddle shifters.
