Here Yugo again...

Dana Loomis asked -

"Apologies for the lack of Alfa content, but wasn't the Yugo sold in the US
a knock off of the Fiat 127?"

It was essentially a laterally sectioned 128 - it used a Yugoslav-made (and licensed by
Fiat) version of the 128's drivetrain and front/rear suspension on a shortened platform,
so it was as wide as a 128 but about the same length as a 127. AFAIK, all the running
gear is swappable between the two cars.
