74 GTV Starter Problem

Hey cats,

Thanks for everyone's responses. I've clipped them all and
saved them to keep in my archives. At the moment, I have a 
pushbutton, so it's not in the ignition switch. I disconnected the 
cold start wire yesterday and haven't have any problems so far. 
I'm gonna leave it disconnected for a week or so. If I have no
problems, I'll hook it back up and get ready to pull it off  if
it happens. It looks like I'm on my way to finding the exact
cause.

Although I don't quite understand how something could be 
feeding the starter through the cold start solonoid. There is only
one wire to it and it is a load device to ground.
