Alternator Replacement - Milano

Hi Jason:

You can buy just a replacement voltage regulator, which incorporates the brushes, for around $30. Of course, if that's not your problem, you will have wasted $30, since used pieces like that aren't usually returnable. You could also try a local rebuilder, or the link below:

For $83 (core charge included), these guys will send you a replacement with a 3-year warranty.

Subject: Alternator Replacement - Milano

I had to tow the Milano home last night. The alternator finally gave out and
the battery was drained. I have been told that I could just replace the
brushes in the alternator and not the whole unit, is this true? If so where
can i get the brushes?

Are the whole alternator units expensive? I would rather just replace the
whole thing if was a resonable price.

Thanks.
