rear view mirror reattachment

Looks like the Florida sunshine has struck my rearview mirror. Ok, so it
obviously glues on, but does the mirror come off the base somehow? It looks
like the mirror might screw into the base, but I can't be sure. The mirror
is too heavy to glue the entire thing up I imagine.
