Auto Verde

Mr. Roze's question got me to thinking.   Were there ever any Verde's with
automatic gearboxes and were any sold in the US?  I see many references to
Platinums with autos and the dreaded self-leveling suspension.    I was
looking at link from the Wiki that referenced all kinds of gear and final
ratios but no mention of an auto Verde.

I'll send a casual glance over to Hertzman...
