Stuart,

Depending on your climate,  180 to 198F or 82 to 92 C is the range for the
four cylinder Alfetta.  The OEM fan for the six cylinders comes on at 198F
or 92 Celcius.  If this is for your GT Jr,?   The 82-92 is a fairly wide
range from the factory and may indicate that the cut-in temp is not super
critical.
