that might work. you'd still get dirt creeping in near the ends of the
sheathing, and you'd still need to check for wear (either to the braid or
to whatever the braid is wearing against) with some frequency.

i use the steel braided stuff on my race car, but stick to the OE rubber
for my street alfas.
