Re: Rear Sway Bar Bushings



I too have had new bushings that did not fit
securely onto the sway bar end. Not having
the equipment to drill and tap for an end-plate
screw, or even drill for a cotter pin, I used the
following home-brew method. I dimpled the
sway bar shaft with a punch and then slathered
some JB Weld (horrors!) on the bar end. The
dimples provided some friction fit, and I am relying
on JBW for the rest. Don't think I would want to
race with it, but so far it has held up fine.
