machining TRX wheels

What with liability concerns being what they are in this country,
especially in the post-Bridgestone/Firestone/Ford age, I can't imagine
anyone who would be willing to machine TRX wheels to fit standard
non-metric tires. As has been pointed out, the bead area has a totally
different shape, in addition to the diameter difference.  And it would
probably be cheaper just to buy new wheels anyway.
