vent window gasket how-to?

While I meant to order the gasket that surrounds the window GLASS on my 
vent window, I actually ordered the gasket that surrounds the vent 
window itself (glass + frame, inside the bigger frame that makes up part 
of the door). On examination, the car could actually use this gasket, so 
I'm of a mind to keep and use it. However, I can't for the life of me 
figure out how to get the frame and glass out of the vent window 
assembly. Any tips?
