Trip Odometer Problem

Russ;

The trip odometer on the 91 Spiders is driven by a small electric motor
connected by very fine wires. When mine failed one of these wires, red if I
remember, broke at the solder joint. Once re-soldered it was okay. You will
need a small needle type soldering gun so as to not get the circuit board to
hot.

If you haven't already remove the instrument cluster, use a long small screw
drive that has been magnetized so you don't drop the screws down into the
housing. Don't ask me how I know. Once the wires are disconnected the
cluster will come out on the left side of the steering wheel with the
headlight switch in the down position.

When I put mine back in I use a pair of long needle nosed pliers to hold the
screws while I start them into the holes.
