Good news is this is a 1.7 Wide-track model (bigger fenders and most
likely quick rack steering), with no climate control (no stepper
failures I'm guessing).

Bad news is that it's a 1.7 8V, a little underpowered for the car.

It needs a turbo or a 3.0 V6. I wouldn't mind getting the car, but I'm
not sure if I am willing to pay more than $7K for it. Because I will
have to spend the extra on a 2.5 24V (imported from South Africa since
the 156 V6s there are getting GTA engines or Dawie special V6 motors),
and also how will I get it insured in California? It's no problem with
a 164 Q4, but a 155 might be difficult.
