Cam cover gaskrt

FWIW, The best way to use a new gasket on the cam cover is to make sure 
the cover is not warped, the surface must be super clean with no 
pitting or gouges , the same for the cylinder head.   Gaskets cannot be 
forced into valleys or holes,  The only time I have had to change a cam 
cover gasket is when it has been cemented on both  sides or damaged.  A 
leak will develop if a tiny scratch in the cover or head surface is 
there,  It s a valley.   All gaskets want clean, dry and flat surfaces. 
  Remember, you are working on aluminum which is easily damaged with 
careless use of scrappers  like razor blades.  THINK!  Fred
