Alfetta, GTV-6, Milano shocks

I know this has probably been beaten to death but I have a question about 
shocks for my 1978 Sport Sedan.  I have noticed that people have been 
pleased with Koni (too much money for me) and Bilstein, but I have not read 
much about Sachs Boge or KYB.  I believe that my car currently rides on 
Sachs (and I figure they are the original) so I am inclined to stick with 
them.  However, KYBs are about half the price of both Bilstiens and Sachs 
and that of course appeals to be.  My Corolla rides on KYBs and I have no 
complaints.

So the question is, what would you recommend?  Anyone using KYBs on their 
Alfetta, GTV-6, or Milano?  Seeing that they are the same price, anyone 
recommend Bilsteins over Sachs Boge?
