WATER, almost no Alfa content



Fred,
       The Alfa Digest is a bit slow this holiday weekend, so a bit off topic 
will not hurt.
       I think your point is that we should use distilled water in our Alfas 
and I will agree.  However, I disagree that there is no new water on the 
earth.
       In chemistry class years ago, we used electrolysis to separate water 
into Hydrogen and Oxygen.  And any time you burn something new water is a by 
product.  Oxygen from the air or other source, combines with hydrogen from 
the fuel to make water.  This, I would think is new water.
       Now, I will not disagree that most of the hydrogen and oxygen atoms on 
earth were here ages ago.  But over the years some (but surely not all) of 
them have moved around and combined with each other and with atoms of other 
elements in various and sundry combinations from water to wood to 
hydrocarbons to sulfuric acid - we could increase the list ad infinitum.
