I've a similar problem with my 3.0L 75.
The car sometimes refuses to start first thing in the morning.
The workaround is to pop the bonnet, leave the ignition on, out of gear, handbrake on. Find the black connector near the firewall that has two large terminal mounted in the plastic on the driver's side of the car (passenger's side for LHD). Get a pair of needlenose pliers and short across these, this runs the starter motor and the car starts almost instantly.
The cause is almost certainly a crappy battery, low voltage at either the fuel or ignition ECU whilst cranking will cause a no start. If I keep trying to crank it the battery runs flat very quickly. A jump start from the spare battery from the racecar works fine too. Waiting for batteries to be on sale somewhere before I fork out for a new one, if it gets too bad I'll just use the one from the racecar.
Only ever happens first thing in the morning and it's not that cold around here then, probably about 15-20C most mornings.

No.  The L-Jet V6 should be among the quickest older EFI cars to
spring to life--essentially instantaneously.  Is your problem
dependent on the weather?  Is it just a cold-starting issue?  If yes,
check the cold start injector and thermo-time switch.  Vacuum leaks
are also a common cause of hard starting.
