Yep, I'm fond of Webers. I ALSO have a healthy respect for the Spica
injection, as well as for several of the more modern EFI designs.
Just pains me to see the Webers (or Dellortos) get dissed for erroneous
reasons !
There were few enough folks who even began to understand IR carbys when
they were more common. Any more these carbs seem to get criticized most
often on account of the errors of some of the bozos who messed with them
without a clue of what was going on rather than based on technical merit or
demerit.
Likewise--a lot of injection units get praised for attributes they DON'T
really have, when possibly their strongest attribute is that most bozos
haven't figured out how to mess them up !!
