Kit asked whether the 164 was originally known as the 156. Sounds crazy, but
TRUE: The 164 was to have been a '156' but Alfa was looking for a stirring
name. Instead they went with '164' because that was the projects
administrative code. 'Tis all in the book!

And then there are some cars that are badged as 165s, because 164 is an
unlucky number in some markets (China?)
