Re: alfa-digest V9 #48
AFIAK, the GTV-6, Milano and 164 have the same bolt pattern. However
the OFFSET for the FWD 164 is different than that for the RWD GTV-6 and
Milano. As far as new replacement wheels are concerned, try
Re-originals in Houston Texas. They don't have a web-site, but you can
call them at 1-(713) 849-2400 and talk to Matt, or you can E-mail them
at
reoriginals@domain.elided
and ask for a catalog.
Used original equipment wheels as well as used racing wheels can, of
course, always be had from Alfa Parts Exchange in Tracy Ca. 1-(209)
833-8330. Either Larry Jr. or Michael should be able to help you there.
If you are a little more adventurous (and deep pocketed) you might also
want to try S.L. Competition USA at 1- (478) 929-9454. these folks sell
Speedline wheels from Italy and have a number of models that can be
drilled/offset to fit any car including Alfas.
They have a website at:
www.GaRedcars.com
where you can look at their line of Speedline wheels.
Hope this helps.

Subject: V6 Wheel options
List,
I'm looking for a lightweight wheel for a 75/Milano, but of course
running
into the usual problems with the 5x98 bolt pattern. Also having real
trouble
convincing US distributors that such a car even exists. Do the GTV6,
75/Milano, and 164 share the same wheel specs? Are there any other cars
using the same or similar specs? Does anyone know of viable light
weight
options for the 75/Milano and where to source from?
Thanks in advance
Graham
