Re: '86 Spider suspension questions

Tim,
I switched out the rear springs on my 78 Spider with either IAP or Centerline (whoever sells the yellow ones) sport springs. I initially did only the rears because the tail end was sagging badly and I was too broke to do them all. Probably two years passed before I got around to spending the time and money on a matching set for the front. No problems in between. The car handled a little better after replacing the rears, but after replacing the fronts as well it was like suddenly driving a sports car!
If yours is dragging ass then it is definitely time to replace. If not, then they are probably fine unless you just want to tighten it up a little.
