Richard,
Eliot Shanabrook and I recently petitioned the SCCA Comp Board to
classify the GTV as a limited prep F-Production car with the SPICA.
My recently completed (Thanks, Bob!) 73 is eligible for the NE
Division's Volvo Historic Series. The SPICA is not legal in E-Prod
so being in F would let me run regional race meets that don't have
the VHS. I am facing Denver twice a day and praying the Comp Board
approves our request

What the hell? The SCCA runs classes in which OEM fuel delivery is
banned? "I'm sorry, sir, you're car isn't 'prepared' enough, you
can't race." How the heck does that work? What's the rationale
there? I assume that properly-jetted Webers would have the edge
unless someone made a SPICA 3D cam specifically for racing, so why
can't you run the slower OEM setup?
