Wet tire performance (NDC, no Ducati content)

I need new tires for my '95 164LS! After driving in Silicon Valley's first
rain since May, I decided my still-legal tires are dangerous.

Without starting a huge thread (off line replies welcome) is there a web
site that has wet performance stats for tires that are in the $100 range?

I don't need exotic street/track tires, as the only time I approach the
limits of adhesion are an occasional suburban on-ramp blast. Also, something
that will be easily available at Wheel Works, or similar local store (stock
size of 195/65/15 if my brain cells are working correctly)
