Re: leaking top
Dean W. Cains had written in AD #1279...
<<Hi Wayne:
Join the club. Not only does my top leak around the rear window, but also
behind the side windows, and above the side windows, and on the corners of
the header, too.....>>
Hey Dean, before you go out into the universe dissing me and my tops, if I
read your post correctly there is NO mention of you contacting me about the
"problems" you have encountered. If you had, you would find out that
initially (when you claim the top was too small) that I'd either give you a
replacement top or your money back... no questions asked!
At this point I will still give you a replacement top if you'll be kind
enough to return the top you have to me. So why didn't you check this out
with me first???
And by the way, yes I agree a top should last more than a year and a half,
but if you bought say... a water pump from a vendor and it failed in a year
and a half (and obviously a water pump should last longer) are you also so
blatantly going to go out of your way to "diss" that vendor also?
Hey.. parts go bad, stuff happens... but if you had taken the time to call me
and tell me in a civil manner, well your "problems" would have been taken
care of long, long ago. Do you think I've stayed in business 21 years
(Caribou was started in 1981) by selling junky products?
Best Wishes,
Ed at Caribou
