I use Gunk S-C "Super Concentrate" diluted with 5 to 10 parts of kerosene, 
then rinse with (preferably) warm water.  Leaves a clean, non-greasy/oily 
surface after rinsing, and it is not very volatile.  Works well in my HF 
parts cleaner.
