Cold starting: 87 Spider Veloce

My 87 SV idles very roughly (misses, actually) when cold after it has been 
sitting for a week or more. Once warm it starts and runs smoothly. If I drive 
it every day the problem does not occur; It only happens when the car has 
been sitting for several days. Do any listi have experience with this and 
know the fabled quick fix?
