74 Spider -- Thermostatic Actuator Measurements -- CONFLICT!!

Hey Cats ....

ok, got the TA off the 74 Spider today ....

COLD (70 deg F) measurement from flange/mounting base to tip = 18.5 mm
(actually flush with end)
HOT (180 deg F in old omlette pan) measurement came out to 27mm

I broke out the AROC SPICA binder ...   page 158 (ARDONA) says the COLD should
be 23 mm HOT = 31 mm

but THEN I chanced upon Wes Ingram's spec table @ p 91 and it gives the specs
as 19 COLD and 27 HOT

so ...   WHICH IS IT ?!?!?
