I normally refrain from "flaming" but I might suggest to your friend that the performance of a V8 can be obtained with the stock 4 cylinder simply by "pre-heating" his fuel on his stove...  Just kidding, but seriously, I suspect there are many, much better candidates out there for such a conversion.
