In #1227 our esteemed (capitalization challenged) leader comments:
"someone is infected with bugbear, almost certainly a reader of this
list.
John hertzman and I have both received email querying about Alfetta
Sedan
doors for a 1978 car. it purports to be from "Jim.Clinton", but the
email
address given is bogus. whoever is infected at the very least is a M$
outlook/outlook express user who has both John and I in the address
book.
folks, please keep your systems up to date and your virus protection
current. this has long since ceased to be funny, if indeed it ever was.

Said it before, will say it again, just because you're on Linux or
Macintosh, don't remotely feel our day won't be acoming. Yes, possibly
smaller back doors, but apparently these major pain in the asses only
need the most minute crack (pun intended) to assault us with their oh so
clever hacking abilities.
Suspect when the little kids feel they've done their dirt with PC's,
they'll be looking elsewhere to inflict their hormone challenged (sorry
to repeat the word) angst.

Does anyone out there feel castration while hanging by thumbs even
remotely qualifies as cruel and unusual punishment under these
circumstances - no matter what their ages?
Personally I'd be more than happy to hit the yes button for anyone (and
all) who 'merely' send me nauseating, repetitious spam.
