I wouldn't be too surprised if GM is purposely letting FIAT slide to a 
point where they can excercise the option at a bargain basement price. 
Why buy it today at $8.5 when you can get the same thing next week at 
$1.98.... Then again, I have been, though rarely, accused of being 
cynical....
