GIOVANARDI AND ALFA ARE CHAMPIONS!

"Fabrizio Giovanardi secured his second consecutive FIA European Drivers Championship,
following his FIA European Super Touring title in 2001. And thanks to the points scored
by
Giovanardi and third-placed Gabriele Tarquini, Alfa Romeo won the Manufacturers
Championship, the eleventh FIA ETCC title for the Italian make, which last won in
1985."
