Can anyone tell me what the first production car with variable valve timing was? Was it the 1980 US-spec Alfa Spider? How about variable valve lift? Thanks.

Has anyone seen this http://www.help-forward.gr/out/vvtl.html ? It seems like a great idea for aftermarket cams.
