removing half shaft



hi,
you will need to be able to turn the wheel to access
bolts. also, you may generate enough torque to cause
the car to roll (off the ramp?). IIRC, when i did it
(to remove the t/a) i had the wheel off, the dedion
tube (just below hub) resting on a jackstand and used
a ~3ft piece of heavy pipe with 2 holes drilled to
brace the hub against the ground (holes slip over 2
adjacent wheel studs). a hex socket will definitely be
worth the investment.
