RE: James Dean

For anyone driving the Columbia Gorge near Hood River, I highly
recommend a stop in Mosier. Skip Hood River as it is becoming crowded
and ugly. There is a small looking ice cream parlor in nearby Mosier
with a surprising Porsche collection and much memorabilia from James
Dean, including letters, addressed to a Barbara, and many photos of Dean
in his Spyder, before and after the crash and other items. Very
interesting place in a scenic little town. Pity that the owner picked
the wrong car to collect (Alfa content).
