ok, i'll redirect.

the fool pickup is generally on one side or the other. it should be fairly
predictable that in low tank conditions, fool slosh should cause
intermittant outages in certain cornering attitudes.

in a berlina (which was the car that had the problems), what kind of
protracted cornering situation might cause a slosh-related fool outage?
