Most common GTV6 speedo failure, in my experience, is with the sender,
not the speedo.  First thing to do is remove the rubber cover and see if
there's water inside, then check the connections.

I'm not sure how to measure the pulse coming out of the sender, I've
always had the luxury of having a spare around.  And the problem has
always been with the sender..
