Reply to 1600 bellhousing on 2000 transmission

Chip,

I had a race gearbox done for my racecar and I ran into the same problem as
the transmission was built using a 2000 input shaft.  I can tell you from
first hand experience that an oil seal that has the 26x40x7 will work well.  I
use a TCM oil seal on my race gearbox.  I know this part will work for you.  I
am not sure if there are any other issues involved.
