RE: Side electrode spark plugs with Euro cams, interference?

Yes you can, people in Europe do it all the time. All the usual
precautions apply, make sure they are straight (you know what I mean).
Even I have done it. Frank's Dad ran Champion plugs in his Giulietta
Noueva for years.

Hey gang,

I've got a slight miss at idle in my spider which is
currently running old Lodge plugs, and a perfectly
good set of Denso plugs (my favorites) sitting in a
drawer. I'm hesitant to use them with Euro cams due
to the increased lift of these cams vs. stock. I had
no interference issues with them using 1750 cams.
Does anybody know - definitively - if you can use a
standard single-electrode plug with Euro cams in a 2L
engine?

Thanks,
