I'm about 6'0.75" and drive a '93 Spider comfortably. Before
that, I drove an '80 Fiat Spider comfortably. I believe my
proportions are quite typical (i.e., not particularly long
waisted), but I seem to fit fine. I also drive an Audi
allroad, so I know how other cars feel as well!

Other than having the seat all the way back, I'm not aware at
this point of anything that I specifically do to wedge myself
into the car. Yes, the steering wheel and my legs are pretty
close to each other, but I'm not aware of continuous contact.

Compared to Skippy's R/T-2000's, the Spider is downright
spacious!
