snap in seatbelt

OK, it is time for my semi annual rant against four point seat belt / racing harness. The two shoulder straps WILL pull the seat belt up into the soft part of your belly during an incident. You want the belt held down on your pelvic bones with an anti submarine strap.
An anti submarine strap, properly installed will not interfere with your ability to have children, assuming you want any. Well, it might if you stay buckled in. Sex is why the Giulia Super has lay down seats - "camping position" I think the Super owner's manual calls it. Oops, off rant here.
I see you have a GTV-6, but allow me to continue my rant a moment longer. A four or five point harness should NEVER be used in an open spider without a roll bar at least as high as the top of your head. In a roll over, you need to be able to slip out of the harness and put your head in the passenger seat. With any luck at all, you will be able to keep your upper body in the passenger seat beyond the first bounce of the roll over. But if you are held bolt upright by full shoulder harnesses, you have zero chance in a roll over.
With regard to a snap in set up, I am not sure what you mean. I have seen the shoulder belt portion of a full harness attached to the rear seat belt anchor points in Alfa coupes and sedans. Attaching a shoulder harness to a 20 year old stock seat belt is not going to be best. There is a reason why SCCA requires the belts be changed every five years. And that reason is primarily due to sunlight breaking down the seat belt material.
