I had sent a second email to Rob (who posted here my PRIVATE email to him... 
let us leave the ethical implications of someone posting what the sender 
expects to be a private email in a public forum for another day) and told him 
to post that to The Alfa Digest also, so just in case he doesn't I have 
below. Maybe some of you folks will get a better understanding of what I am 
trying to do here.

And by the way to the person who wondered why I extended a 10% Off Sale by a 
day; simple, I knew that all the folks who had tried to order over the 2 days 
of the sale were not able to get thru. They sent me emails, they sent me 
faxes. And this was after I stayed here well over an hour past closing time 
on the second sale day and the phones just kept on ringing. I decided that 
night that the fair thing to do would be to give those folks who were unable 
to get thru another chance. So.... now you're questioning/sliming me because 
I did something nice for some folks who had difficulty getting thru the first 
two days? What is this world coming to?

Sorry about not being able to get thru and busy phones, but...

On July 2nd the girl who answered phones and ran the office for 2 1/2 years 
QUIT with just one day's notice.

Since then, I have been doing 3 people's jobs with phone answering alone 
being a full time positions. There are five lit up phone lines all day long 
waiting for my attention and as soon as I finish and put one down it 
immediately rings again with the next call. 

And... for the last two weeks or so I have been fighting a flu bug that will 
not go away. I CANNOT take a day or two off to "get better" (what with me 
being the only one here) and today is a perfect example... I've been coughing 
up yellow goo from my lungs all day and all night, I feel like there is a 
knife stuck in my forehead and my vision has just started get a bit spotty, 
BUT....

I am still here, answering phones doing what I can. So if you keep calling 
(949) 770-3136 you will eventually get thru, but the "busy" signals are NOT 
on account of my lack of effort.
