A common problem. I have resusitated nearly all window switches on my 91.
You can replace the switch or try a little R/R. Most of the time the
problem is dirty (oxidized) contacts. Get some electric contact cleaner (WD
40 will do in a pinch) . First spray the contacts on the switch and its
corresponding plug. Insert/remove a few times to distribute the cleaner.
If switch works OK. If not, stage 2 is to make a small hole in the bottom
switch housing and apply cleaner liberally through this hole. Place the
hole a little left or right of the centerline. One of these two methods has
always worked for me. Of course, be very careful making the hole - I used a
Exacto knife not a drill.

PS. You can always buy a new switch. Assume your fuses are OK. They are
located in the center console for the window lifts.
