I've tried double clutching, but I am doing it wrong, or I must be. Can
you offer some links that have a good procedure, or write one for me? I
just don't seem to get the timing right.
Push clutch in.
Disengage gear.
Quickly allow clutch pedal up, and push it back down. Blip throttle if
downshifting.
Engage next gear.
Let clutch out.
Revel in self-righteousness.
The key is to get this all working smoothly. The double-clutching part
is just a quick pump of the clutch while you are between gears. You'll
learn pretty quickly... a botched shift is a pretty strong negative
conditioning stimulus.
