Northwest classic rally

I just noticed that I will be in Portland the weekend of the Monte Shelton
Northwest Classic Rally and was wondering if someone could give me some
advice on the best place and time to see it as just a spectator.  So
basically the best car oogling time.  I will probably only be able to make
it on a one time, one place basis as I have my family in tow.  It looks like
the start would be best but I would have to change my schedule a little bit
to make it there on Thursday.  How is the finish and where is it, downtown
Portland?  I guess that I should also find out if it is worth going to at
all but that seems a silly question for a car slut, err enthusiast, such as
myself.
