Milano transmission / Alfetta transmission

My 1988 Milano Verde suffered what seems to be a catastrophic transmission
failure on Sunday. While no metal bits flew through the casing, some
*really* bad sounds (a loud buzzing, grinding and a prolonged 'lathing'
sound) are emitted and the tranny has a tendency to stall the engine when
the clutch is released in neutral.

As this is my daily driver, I am keen to return the car to the road.

Out back, I have a 1977 Alfetta GT which is complete but non-running. The
car is in over-all poor condition and I've been wondering what to do with
it. Since there are very few of these left on the road, I've been hesitant
about parting it out as it could potentially be restored to service. (I'm
fairly certain the Spica pump is beyond hope.)

Now it seems that the Alfetta will become donor to my Milano & Spider. My
question is this: other than the speedometer sender and the clutch (single
vs. tri-plate), are there any other differences between the Alfetta's and
Milano's transmissions? A follow-on: is anyone aware of any changes to bolt
pattern or thread type of the brake rotors and half-shafts?

Thanks in advance!
