Speedo Problems...

Hello All,

I posted this question a couple of weeks ago but have had no response from
anyone so I'm not sure if it was even sent properly to the list. Here is the
problem, the speedo in my 88' Spider is not working. I just had the
transmission rebuilt and they installed a new speedo cable at the same time.
The old one had melted against the exhaust. Still no go. Does anyone have a
clue as to where I should look next? Any help would be appreciated.
