 For the person looking for a good used Snell rated helmet. You should try ebay.com. There are many Snell rated helmets for sale. You may want to consider a Snell rated Motorcycle Helmet since they generally sell for less than 1/2 of the cost of the Snell rated Automotive Helmets. The difference is that the Automotive helmets have a fireproof liner that is not required for the Snell rating on motorcycle helmets. You should check with the club who sponsors your autocross, but often they will permit Snell rated motorcycle helmets. The rating stamped somewhere in the helmet will say "Snell M 2000" or "Snell A 2000" with the letter indicating if it is a motorcycle or automotive helmet. Steve Gordon(73 + 86 Spiders)
