I can't say for sure what's above the sagging headliner of a Nissan, but in a
75/Milano, the headliner is attached (glued, I guess)to a plastic foam
insulating layer that is somehow attached to the inside of the roof. This
foam material breaks down (eg, turns to dust) and so the headliner sags when
its support disappears. I had the same thought about injecting spray
adhesive on the 75, but after a few tests I realized this could never work
and used my patented "peel and stretch" technique instead. I don't know the
Nissan so I can't say if this would work on it or not, but my guess is the
injection method would not work any better on the Nissan than on the Alfa,
alas.
Side to Peter: do you speak Japanese? I need to confirm 3 Japanese words I'm
using in a project are correct. Please email me off list. Thanks.
