California contact cement

This is being sent to both Alfa groups. Although I haven't done an
exhaustive search, it appears that 'real' contact cement was removed
from CA shelves in June of '01. The water based substitute (billed as
nonflammable) is sort of okay for some things. It certainly cleans up
nicely, brush and all. However, I need to install a top, and want the
most aggressive glue I can find. The old contact cement always held on
my installed tops, although always stretched to its limits. This 'new'
stuff will obviously give up much more easily.

Any CA solutions? Any foreigners (anyone from one of the other 49
states) care to ship if need be?
