WOW 55K for a 99 156 - someone it out to make a good deal of money. I
just bought a 99 156 2.0 TS in Denmark (with 180% tax) for $23,000. Here
that is a reasonable price considering the car taxes. I have seen ads I
Germany and Switzerland for around 12-15,000 Euro.

A NEW base model in Germany is 21,800 to 30,250 Euro, the cheapest being
the 1.6 and the most expensive being the 2.5 Q-System Distinctive. Then
you can add whatever extras your heart desires.

Subject: 156 FS on ebay in the US????

Has anyone seen the 1999 red 156 for sale on ebay?  It was brought in
from Norway as part of "personal belongs" move from Norway.  At least
that's what is in the description.  The first bid is $55,000.00 USD is
he OUT of his MIND???  I'm sure since it one of the few in the country
it should get more, but $55,000.00??  Couldn't you buy this car in
Europe for $30,000.00 - $40,000.00???  Anyone know what they go for new?
